Hello September! Health, Wellness and Manifestation Tips For Beginners.

As we bid farewell to the occasional warmth of August and begin to welcome the crisp mornings of September, it’s the perfect time to begin focusing on our health, wellness, and some positive manifestations for the new month ahead. With the changing seasons, our bodies and minds also undergo transformation, making it an opportune moment to implement some mindful practices. Although it can be extremely difficult nowadays with the pace of life so challenging to keep up with at the best of times, I have been exploring actionable tips for taking a few moments each day to try and prioritize well-being and begin harnessing the power of manifestation for the first time, this September.

1. A Morning Routine: Try to begin each day with a positive morning routine. Incorporating gentle stretches or even a short yoga session to wake up your body can be so beneficial for the body as well as the mind. I began trying mindful meditation around 12 months ago now, just 5 minutes each morning as often as I can really has made a difference, you could use one of the many apps available or there are lots of ideas online. As breakfast is always the most important meal of the day, nourishing your body with a balanced mixture of fruit and cereals that are rich in nutrients will give your metabolism a much needed kickstart!

2. Nutrient-Rich Seasonal Foods: September brings a tasty selection of delicious seasonal produce, including apples, pears, pumpkins, and various types of squash. Although the majority of us find it almost impossible to eat the recommended 5 portions everyday, trying to include these nutrient-rich foods in your meals will not only help to support your immune system, but also maintain energy levels throughout your busy day.

3. Stay Hydrated: As the weather gets a little cooler, it’s easy to forget the importance of staying hydrated. I try to keep a reusable water bottle handy, we should aim to drink at least 8 glasses of water daily, I find that adding herbal teas and infused water with slices of citrus fruits can add variety and make this target easier to achieve.

4. Mindful Movement: Finding the time to regularly commit to exersize can be difficult but doing your best to engage in some sort of regular physical activity that you genuinely enjoy can be so beneficial in lots of ways.Whether it’s a nature walk, a dance class, or a relaxing swim. Physical movement not only boosts your fitness but also releases endorphins which can enhance your mood and reduce stress, and that’s something that I think we could all reap the benefits of in today’s modern world.

5. Journal Your Intentions: I began journaling around 2 years ago and found it became a vital source of managing my mental and physical health on a daily basis. At first it can be difficult to know exactly what to write but you could start by setting the tone for the month by journaling your intentions and goals no matter how big or small they may seem. Another idea is to write down what you want to achieve in terms of health, wellness, and personal growth and try to reinforce any negativity with something positive to help you stay focused and motivated throughout the month.

6. Practice Gratitude: As humans, many of us seem to be programmed by default to focus on the negatives in life but by regularly take a few moments to reflect on what you’re grateful for, it can reinforce all of the positives too. This is a simple practice but one that can significantly improve your overall well-being.

7. Harnessing Manifestation: Apparently, September is a powerful month for manifesting your desires. One of my new found hobbies involves a well known app called Pintrest, I find the visual really helpful for inspiring ideas whether it’s for a lesson idea for the kids or home improvements. You could also use old magazines and digital images to create a physical vision board or a list of affirmations that align with your goals. By putting it in a prominent place where you see them regularly makes those things that we envisage seem much more achievable in our everyday lives.

8. Digital Detox: I never thought that I would say this but I could definitely benefit from this idea!With screen time becoming much more of our everyday working and home life why not begin September by taking a digital detox weekender. I always find that when we go on holiday and disconnect from screens, we engage in outdoor activities much more and find that we spend much more quality time with loved ones. This break can rejuvenate relationships and have a positive effect on your mind as well as also improving your sleep quality.

So as September ushers in a season of change and renewal, seize the opportunity to align your health, wellness, and aspirations. By trying to adopt just some of these tips and practices, we could find ourselves well on our way to an empowering month ahead. Remember, Rome wasn’t built in a day, every small step you take contributes to your overall well-being and better mental health.
