Work It, Let Me Work It, Home Ed, Flip & Reverse It…..

When I first started out with my home education social media channels and blogging about our journey on my website, I was initially covering the things that we had experienced on our own journey along with sharing different learning resources and the hands on activities that we enjoyed.
But it soon became really obvious to me that this was only half of the picture that people wanted to see……..

I Would Like To Give Thanks To Me!….. Gratitude Journalling

Gratitude journalling allows you to record and reflect on things within your life that you are grateful or thankful for.

In this day and age, I think that we all fall into the trap of focusing a little too much on the areas that we feel that we need to work on or achieve, rather than taking the time to take a good look at yourself and what you have achieved right now.

Upon Reflection, A Time For Change

Have you ever experienced one of those situations when you see someone and then after an initial meeting you end up seeing them all of the time. Its generally somewhere awkward like the supermarket and after a brief exchange of pleasantries whilst fighting for a trolley, you part company but then bump into them on pretty much every aisle, Well that’s exactly what happened to me.

My Employment Tribunal Journey – Part 1

Welcome to my first blog dedicated to my employment tribunal journey.
For those of you who are new to my website, my name is Lisa and I successfully represented myself as a litigant in person through the Employment Tribunal process against my former employer in 2022.

One of the main motivations behind starting my own website was to be able to share my experience first hand to try and help those currently navigating the treacherous path of an Employment Tribunal.

The Benefits Of Journalling

I began to journal around 2 and a half years ago and although I was extremely sceptical in the beginning, I found it to be a vital resource in helping me manage my anxiety on a daily basis.

Journalling was introduced to me as a great way to express yourself and learn more about your own thoughts and emotions, Once we understand our pattern of though we can begin to learn more about our personal triggers and how to manage them.

Todays Troubles, Tomorrow’s Inspiration

An inspirational person is generally deemed as someone who serves as a source of motivation, guidance, and positive influence to others through their actions, words or accomplishments.

We usually find that these individuals often possess qualities and characteristics that inspire and empower others to strive for personal growth, overcome challenges, and pursue their goals. So if I were to ask you to name an inspirational person right now, what would you say?

Thinking Out Loud…..Don’t Sweat The Small Stuff

As a 40 something, I don’t know about you but I find that I have started to care much less about things than I used to. I’m not just talking about whether I do the weekly shop at Morrissons or Tesco which in actual fact is a grown up chore that leaves me wanting to poke my eye out with a compass on a regular basis at the mere thought, but important stuff that a younger me would have spent precious time concerning myself with.
