There are so many amazing resources out there to help children develop new skills and encourage learning alongside hands on play, that sometimes it can be difficult to know which ones to choose!
As a home educating family, we are always on the lookout for new and exciting ways to incorporate our learning into the things that our children enjoy.
We have tried various products and styles of learning over the past few years so whether your looking to home educate or would like to incorporate a little fun learning at home, we have put together some of our top learning resources for you!

The Chatty Zebra Curriculum
The Chatty Zebra Curriculum offer learning packs which can be adapted to children of all ages and there’s lots of different themes to choose from.
Whether your looking to incorporate history into your learning and fancy trying the Tudor pack to movie studies, nature studies, there’s even Peter Rabbit and Harry Potter studies too!
Each workbook is topic based but also brings in other skills such as writing opportunities, geography, art and crafts, cooking and critical thinking., this way children can choose the topics that spark their interests.

All of which is done in bright colours and fun characters to make them engaging for children.
For us, the Orchard games were fantastic because our children didn’t even realise that they were learning! Many of the games have different themes and you can be playing with pirates, fairies or footballers!

White Rose Maths
If your looking for a comprehensive program for structured maths learning that follows the national curriculum then White Rose Maths could be worth a look.
They provide maths resources and Schemes of Learning for pupils of all ages, from early years to secondary school and are designed to be engaging and fun. The learning packs outline yearly frameworks that break down what children need to learn during each week which is a fantastic way to save time, instead of spending hours researching and planning, the worksheets and workbooks are set out in weekly order and ready to go.
You could use the program as your primary learning source for maths or choose from the weekly challenges to suit your learning style and dip in and out which we found suited us best.
Whilst access to the full scheme of learning requires a subscription, there are some free resources to try first.
Reading eggs are a fun interactive way for children to begin to explore letters and sounds.
The first stage is aimed at children aged 2+ and has fun games that build alphabet knowledge but in a fun way and is a structured learning program right through to age 13 by using different skills and logic games to improve and help literacy skills.
The best part about it for us, was that initially our daughter had no idea that it made up a part of her learning because it was fun!

Home School Resources
Whether your looking for STEM experiment packs, English, Maths, Geography, History Arts or design resources, They have got you covered!
